c. Encryption Key:

• The App uses an encryption key to encrypt your data locally before it is transmitted to our Firebase database.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and Maintain the App: Enable core functionalities like dream logging, symbol exploration, AI-powered insights, pattern tracking, and personal dream rituals.
• Enhance User Experience: Improve the App's features and performance based on your usage and feedback.
• Data Security: Protect your data through encryption and secure storage methods.
• Compliance: Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

4. Data Storage and Security

a. Data Storage:

• All user data is stored in Firebase, a secure cloud-based platform provided by Google.

b. Data Encryption:

• Encryption Method: All user data is encrypted using AES-256 in Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) mode with a 128-bit Initialization Vector (IV) before being transmitted to and stored in Firebase.
• Encryption Process:
1. The encryption key, provided in Base64 format, is decoded to an ArrayBuffer.
2. User-entered data is converted from UTF-8 string to an ArrayBuffer.
3. The data is encrypted using AES-256-CBC with the decoded key and the generated IV.
4. Both the IV and the ciphertext are converted to Base64 and concatenated in the format ivBase64:cipherTextBase64.

c. Security Measures:

• Access Control: Access to encrypted data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
• Regular Audits: We conduct regular security audits to ensure the integrity and security of your data.
• Secure Transmission: Data is transmitted over secure channels using HTTPS.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating the App, conducting our business, or servicing you, provided that these parties agree to keep your information confidential.

• You can delete your dream entries at any time through the App. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our Firebase database.

c. Exporting Data:

• You have the option to export your dream entries from the App for personal use.

Our App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete such information from our records.

• We do not share your information with any other third-party services.
